Turner Property Recruitment are pleased to be working alongside a thriving consultancy on their next hire in the Leeds office.Our client is looking for Building Surveyors who are ready to take the next step in their careers and are looking to deliver project work to an exciting range of public and private sector clients across Yorkshire and the North of England.

As a Building Surveyor you will be responsible for managing building surveying commissions, including surveys, dilapidation advice, party wall advice, and construction projects for new builds, renovations and maintenance works.

Supporting business unit directors in delivering business objectivesDelivering high quality services and ensuring that building surveying deliverables meet customer’s requirementsManaging projects to deliver high quality services and deliverables in accordance with business proceduresManaging building surveying commissions, including surveys, dilapidation advice, party wall advice, and construction projects for new builds, renovations and maintenance works – from feasibility through to design, contract administration to handover and post completion reviewsQuality monitoring of construction projectsPlanning service delivery in conjunction with the Director with overall responsibility for the projectCommunicating with and providing good sound professional advice to both clients and other project team membersEnsuring that all quantitative and financial information has been independently checked before issue, including maintaining evidence of independent checksAdvising directors promptly of any issues that have arisen, or that might arise, on projects; in particular those that might impact on our client’s professional indemnity (PI) insurance Identifying new business development opportunities and driving growth across the Business Unit activities

In terms of salary, our client can offer up to £65,000 depending on experience….
